This trail has wonderful access to the Mexican canyon and "s" trestles. During the hot summer days, bring your swimsuit and a towel and hop on in! The nearest airports to Cloudcroft are the Roswell (ROW) Airport and El Paso Airport. We come to this waterfall every time we come to Cloudcroft during the Summer months, but this was the first time we had hiked the short part of Willie White trail. I did encounter a giant rattlesnake on the trail - was completely camouflaged under some tan heathery type grass -- he rattled LOUD - i jumped and then got video of him slithering into bushes under a tree/shrub. There is only one sign that says Bluff Springs. Definitely grab a map.
